Rare vintage Hardy “JJH The Fly No2” 9ft 9” 3 piece Palakona split cane Fly Rod in good condition. Lockfast joints, burgundy eye and intermediate whippings, lined butt and tip rings, and a cork handle with up-locking reel seat. Rod stamped E4222 (1926) comes with original Hardy cloth bag and a metal tube included. Condition: * Cane straight, no repairs or sets * Eyes and whipping sound * Stamping and markings present * Varnish crinkled in places * Cork handle clean and complete * Bag and tube (not Hardy) intact This rare 100 year old rod is a good example of a Hardy of Alnwick Fly Rod.
