Rare Hardy “Gold Medal ” 11ft 10” 3 piece split cane fly fishing rod. This early rod stamped A13074 (1904) is in very good condition given its age, having bronzed brass ferrules, lined butt & tip rings, burgundy intermediate and eye whippings and a 15” leather covered handle with bronze sliding ring reel seat. This rod comes complete with a Hardy 3 pocket khaki cloth bag (not the original).

Copper whipped stud lock joint, red tipped green eye whippings, turned alloy stopper and 21” cork handle with alloy screw grip reel fitting. Rare Hardy “The Tournament GD2” Made for George W Daughterty casting champion 8ft staggered ferrule 2 piece Palakona split cane FlyRod in excellent condition. This display quality casting rod is thought to be a “one off” made for GD2 stamped E41029 it was manufactured in 1937 by Hardy Bros Ltd Alnwick . The rod has bronzed brass suction ferrule, burgundy whipped snake eyes, lined butt and tip rings, and a 9 1/2” cork handle with single sliding ring reel seat. This rod, stamped 16200 (1890) has seen a repair and lacquer crazing to one tip section, the remaining sections are in very good condition for a rod of this age. Dark olive green blanks, light green whipped eyes, lined butt rings x2 and a 23” double handed cork handle with down locking reel seat. This excellent Salmon Fly Rod appears brand new and unused there being no blemishes on the joints to suggest it’s been assembled, likewise the cork handle is completely unmarked. The rod comes with its original Hardy 4 pocket black cloth bag and Hardy Aydon branded zip top Cordura tube with carry handle, both as new. Tube length 128cm. 609
