Rare vintage and excellent Paul Elliott “Carp Rod” 9ft 2” 2 piece split cane Carp Rod in outstanding condition. Bronzed brass suction ferrules, red tipped green whipped eyes, green intermediate whipping, red agate lined butt and tip rings, and a 26” cork handle with twin alloy sliding ring reel fittings. This “near mint” rod, marked Carp 01, appears to have had little use (the varnish being excellent throughout), it comes with a turned hardwood stopper and in what is thought to be its original twin pocket khaki cloth bag.
