J S Sharpe of Aberdeen The Scottie 9ft #6 manufactured by Farlows in 1978. This impregnated split cane fly rod stamped 8.6.66 is in very good condition with burgundy whippings, bronzed brass ferrule snake eyes and a cork handle with down locking reel seat. The rod comes complete with a rubber stopper and its original manufacturers twin pocket khaki bag.

An excellent condition, A B James “Avon Perfection” 11f 3” 3 piece Avon rod has a whole cane butt section with split cane centre and tip sections. An excellent and scarce example of a B. James “Richard Walker Mk IV Avon” 10ft 2 piece split cane Coarse Rod (circa 1958). Bronzed brass collared suction ferrule, rare green eye and intermediate whippings, red agate lined tip eye, turned hardwood stopper and a 25” doughnut cork handle with twin alloy sliding ring reel fittings. This original rod has the London transfer label and comes in its B. James twin pocket khaki cloth bag.
