This rod has a bronzed brass Lockfast joint, lined butt and tip rings, burgundy intermediate and eye whippings, and a cork handle with up locking reel seat. This rod stamped E 95229 (1954) has some rewhipping work mainly around the eyes; it comes in a Hardy twin pocket khaki cloth bag.
J S Sharpe of Aberdeen The Scottie 9ft #6 manufactured by Farlows in 1978. This impregnated split cane fly rod stamped 8.6.66 is in very good condition with burgundy whippings, bronzed brass ferrule snake eyes and a cork handle with down locking reel seat. The rod comes complete with a rubber stopper and its original manufacturers twin pocket khaki bag.
Rare Hardy “Gold Medal ” 11ft 10” 3 piece split cane fly fishing rod. This early rod stamped A13074 (1904) is in very good condition given its age, having bronzed brass ferrules, lined butt & tip rings, burgundy intermediate and eye whippings and a 15” leather covered handle with bronze sliding ring reel seat. This rod comes complete with a Hardy 3 pocket khaki cloth bag (not the original).

This vintage rod, stamped E4222 (1926) is in good condition, the butt and mid sections have been re varnished at some point. B. James “Avon Perfection” Avon Rod – 11ft 3in (Circa 1956–57) An excellent-condition B. James Avon Perfection 11ft 3in three-piece Avon rod. Constructed with a whole-cane butt section and split-cane centre and tip sections. Fitted with bronzed brass ferrules, burgundy whippings with intermediates, stand-off eyes, and red agate–lined butt and tip rings. The rod features a 24-inch onion cork handle with twin sliding-ring reel fittings. A highly desirable vintage rod dating to circa 1956–57, complete with its original three-pocket green cloth bag.
