Vintage Hardy “The Perfection” 9ft 2 piece Palakona cane Fly Rod in very good condition. Bronzed brass shouldered joints, burgundy snake eye and intermediate whipping, lined butt and tip rings, turned hardwood stopper and cork handle with a single slip ring Universal reel holder. This rod stamped E1446 (1925) comes with a Hardy twin pocket khaki bag included. Condition: Appears to have been professionally refurbished * Cane straight no sets, damage or repair * Eyes and whipping sound * Varnish excellent * Markings and stamping present * Cork handle clean and consistent with a rod of this age. * Bag intact This is a usable example from the British rod builder, Hardy of Alnwick.
