Vintage Hardy “The Perfection” 10ft 6” 2 piece Palakona cane Fly Rod in excellent vintage condition. Lockfast joints, burgundy eye and intermediate whipping, lined butt and tip rings, turned hardwood stopper and cork handle with up-locking reel seat. This rod stamped E95613 (1954) comes with an original Hardy twin pocket khaki bag included. Condition * Cane straight no sets, damage or repair * Eyes and whipping original and sound * Varnish excellent for a 70 year old rod * Markings and stamping all present and correct * Cork handle clean and complete, consistent with a rod of this age. * Bag intact This original Rod is a usable example from the British rod builder, Hardy of Alnwick.
