Lockfast joints, green eye and intermediate whippings, lined butt and tip rings, turned hardwood stoppers, reversible butt spear and a cork handle with nickel silver single slip ring reel seat. This twin tip Fly Rod stamped B7454 (1916) comes with original Hardy 3 pocket cloth bag and capped bamboo tip tube included. Condition * Cane straight no sets, damage or repair * Eyes and whipping appear to be original * Some local re-varnishing consistent rod of this age * Markings and stamping present and correct * Cork handle clean and complete * Bag intact This is a very good example of used, 110 year old fly rod from one of Britain’s most respected builders, Hardy’s of Alnwick.
