Vintage Hardy “ L R Hardy Dry Fly” 9ft 3” 3 piece Palakona split cane Fly Rod in very good used condition. Pin lock joints, green eye and intermediate whippings, lined rings throughout and a cork handle with up-locking reel seat. This rod stamped E17370 (1929) comes with Hardy pocketed cloth bags and bamboo tube included. Condition: * Cane straight, 2 repairs to the tip section * Eyes and whipping sound * Stamping and markings present * Varnish, some minor blemishes consistent with a 95 year old rod * Cork handle clean and complete * Bags intact, tube whipping loose leather cap strap missing A very good honest rod from the renowned British rod builder Hardy of Alnwick.
