Excellent example of a rare Hardy “The Marksman” 8ft 6” 2 piece Palakona split cane Salmon Spinning Rod. Copper whipped stud lock joint, red tipped green eye whippings, turned alloy stopper and 21” cork handle with alloy screw grip reel fitting. This rod, stamped H54651 (1963) is in excellent original condition and comes in its Hardy twin pocket zip and press stud ( all working ) khaki green cloth bag.
