Rare vintage Hardy “The Keith Rollo” 9ft #5/6, 3 piece Palakona split cane Fly Rod in very good original condition. Bronzed brass stepped ferrules, burgundy whipped snake eyes, lined butt and tip rings, turned hardwood stoppers and a cork handle with single alloy slip ring reel seat. Rod stamped H 10397 (1957). Original Hardy pocketed khaki cloth bag and cap top aluminium tube included. Condition * Cane straight no sets, damage or repair * Eyes and whipping original and sound * Varnish very good for a rod this age * Markings all present * Cork handle clean and complete * Bag and tube intact This rare 67 year old Fly Rod is very good example from one of Britain’s most respected builders.
