Rare vintage Hardy (The De Luxe) 8ft 6” 3 piece (plus spare tip) palakona split cane Fly Rod in very good condition. Bronzed brass suction ferrules, burgundy eye and intermediate whippings, lined butt and tip rings, and a cork handle with up-locking reel seat. This twin tip rod, stamped H 24368 (1959) comes complete with its original Hardy zip and press stud (working) 4 pocket cloth bag with sales tags attached and in capped alloy tube. Note, there has been some filler to the cork handle but this doesn’t affect the functionality of the reel seat. Tube length 950cm. 521
