Bronzed brass shoulder joints, golden eye and intermediate whippings, lined butt and tip rings, turned hardwood stopper and a cork handle with single alloy slip ring reel holder. This Rod, stamped H21268 (1959) comes with the original Hardy twin pocket zip and press stud (working) bag included Condition * Cane straight no sets or damage shows signs of light use * Eyes and whipping sound and original * Varnish excellent, consistent with a rod of this age * Markings and stamping present and correct * Cork handle clean and complete * Bag intact, faded An excellent example of a lightly used fly rod for a collection or use from the well respected British builder, Hardy’s of Alnwick.
