Rare Hardy “The Tournament GD2” 8ft staggered ferrule 2 piece Palakona split cane FlyRod in excellent condition. This display quality casting rod is thought to be a “one off” made for GD, stamped E41029 it was manufactured in 1939 by Hardy Bros Ltd Alnwick . The rod has bronzed brass suction ferrule, burgundy whipped snake eyes, lined butt and tip rings, and a 9 1/2” cork handle with single sliding ring reel seat. An exceptional rod that comes complete in its original (repaired) Hardy twin pocket khaki cloth bag. More photos anre available on request. Un-assembled length 159cm. (405)
