Rare vintage and early Hardy “The No1 LRH Spinning” 9ft 6” 2 piece Palakona split cane Spinning Rod in excellent condition. Copper whipped pin lock ferrule, red tipped green whipped eyes, green intermediate whipping, lined eyes throughout and a 27” cork handle with alloy lock ring down locking reel seat. This rod, stamped E50168 ( 26-1-1953) has been re-whipped and re-varnished by Hardy’s. It comes complete with locking nut spanner, turned hardwood stopper and in its original Hardy twin pocked khaki cloth bag with original sales tags attached.
