Vintage J.S. Sharpe of Aberdeen “The Scottie” 9ft #7/8, 2 piece Split Cane Fly Rod in very good condition. Bronzed brass suction ferrule, burgundy snake eye whippings, rubber moulded stopper and a cork handle with alloy down locking reel seat. Supplied with a J S Sharpe twin pocket cloth bag. Condition: * Overall very good, consistent with a rod of this age * Cane is straight with no obvious sets * Cork handle is clean and complete * Rings and whippings are in good tight condition * Varnish also very good condition A classic, fishable split cane fly rod, stamped 4.1.150 (1984) by the renowned Scottish maker J.S.
