An early example Hardy “Gold Medal” 8ft 2 piece (plus spare tip) split cane Fly Rod in very good condition. Lock fast joints, red eye and intermediate whipping, lined butt and tip rings, and a cork handle with up locking reel seat. This refurbished twin tip rod, stamped E15528 (1929), is in very good condition except for the original butt cap which is chipped and cracked. The rod comes with a Hardy twin pocket cloth bag.
