Rare Vintage Hardy built for Chubbs of Edgware “Special” 14ft 3 piece split cane Spinning Rod in excellent used condition. Pinlock joints, red tipped orange eye and intermediate whippings, and a 26” cork handle with Hardy twin alloy sliding screw grip reel fittings. Original purpose made 3 pocket cloth bag included. Condition : * Cane straight no sets, damage or repair * Eyes and whipping original and sound * Varnish excellent * Transfers present * Cork handle clean and complete * Bag intact This excellent rod is a usable example from the collaboration between British rod builders, Hardy of Alnwick and Chubbs of Edgware.
