Rare vintage and early Westley Richards “Salmon Rod” 16ft 3 piece greenheart Fly Rod in very good condition. Bronzed brass lock fast joints, brown whipped eyes, ceramic lined butt ring and red agate tip ring, and a 27” cork handle with single brass slip ring reel seat. This substantial Salmon rod, built between 1910 and 1920 has possibly been re tipped in the past with the agate eye. The rod comes complete with turned hardwood stoppers and in an original but tatty Westley Richards (Royal Warrant) labelled beige cloth bag. Un - assembled length 174cm. 530
