Rare vintage R. James (ex Hardy rod builder) “The Master Fly” 8ft 2 piece split cane Brook Rod in excellent condition. Bronzed brass suction ferrule, green tipped burgundy snake eye and ferrule whippings, turned hardwood stopper and a cork handle with single alloy sliding ring reel seat. This exceptional and very original hand built fly rod comes with an unbranded twin pocket blue cloth bag. Un-assembled length 127cm
