This impregnated split cane fly rod stamped 8.6.66 is in very good condition with burgundy whippings, bronzed brass ferrule snake eyes and a cork handle with down locking reel seat. The rod comes complete with a rubber stopper and its original manufacturers twin pocket khaki bag.
J S Sharpe of Aberdeen “The Scottie” 9ft 6” #6/7, 2 piece impregnated split cane fly fishing rod, manufactured in 1967. This rod, stamped 709 131 is in exceptional condition, probably the best example the author has seen, with burgundy whippings, bronzed brass ferrule, lined butt and tip eyes, a cork handle with mini butt extension and down locking reel seat. The rod comes complete with a turned stopper and its original manufacturers twin sleeve khaki bag with mini butt pocket.

This twin tip fly rod, stamped 4.6.90 is in excellent condition with burgundy whippings, bronzed brass ferrules, snake eyes and a 22” cork handle with a single alloy sliding ring reel seat. The rod comes complete with a turned stoppers and a Scottie brand twin pocket khaki bag.
Sharpes of Aberdeen “ Aquarex” 9ft 6” #8, 2 piece carbon fibre Fly Rod in excellent condition. Green blanks, red tipped burgundy snake eye whippings, lined butt rings and a cork handle with up-locking reel seat. This rod appears little used, if at all, and comes in its original twin pocket cloth bag with a Sharpes of Aberdeen labelled flip plastic tube. Tube length 160cm. (465)
