Early Fosters of Ashbourne “Combination Fly Rod” 7ft to 8ft 6” 4 piece (plus 2 spare tips and handle) split cane rod in very good condition. Bronzed brass suction ferrules, dark green eye and intermediate whippings, lined tip eyes and a cork handle with single alloy slip ring reel seat. This fly rod has and additional handle for the first centre section and 2 extra tip ends to permit the various lengths available. The rod comes in its original purpose made 6 pocket khaki cloth bag.
A Fosters of Ashbourne, The Champion 9ft 6” fly rod. Comes with clear agate top and bottom eyes and original bag. Small piece of cork missing as shown in pictures This has a staggered ferrule stopper. A wonderful rod.
Vintage early Fosters of Ashbourne “The Manifold 6ft 7” #5/6, 2 piece split cane Fly Rod in good condition. Bronzed brass suction ferrule, red tipped green whipped snake eyes, lined butt ring and a cork handle with single alloy slip ring reel seat. The rod comes in an unbranded twin pocket khaki cloth bag. This rod would have been 7ft originally but 5” has been removed from the tip section.

Bronzed brass ferrules, green tipped burgundy eye whippings, burgundy intermediate whippings, lined tip ring, turned hardwood stoppers and cork handles with single alloy sliding ring reel seats. This combination rod comes in its original Fosters purpose made 4 pocket cloth bag. At some point the centre section ferrule has been re-whipped but apart from that the rod appears to be all original.
