Rare vintage Farstrike Davenport and Fordham of Ware Herts “The Ivens Original“ 10ft #6/7, 2 piece split cane Fly Rod in excellent condition. Bronzed brass suction ferrule, red snake eye and intermediate whipping, and a cork handle with up-locking reel seat. The rod comes with an unbranded twin pocket green cloth bag. Un-assembled length 159cm.
This is a Farstrike 12ft hollow glass match rod in excellent condition. Bronze reel fittings with high bells in red , with black tip whippings. Red agate top eye with standard bottom eye. 23” cork handle. A wonderful rod in excellent condition. A very early Farstrike version before Davenport and Fordham.
