An excellent and scarce example of a B. James “Richard Walker Mk IV Avon” 10ft 2 piece split cane Coarse Rod (circa 1958). Bronzed brass collared suction ferrule, rare green eye and intermediate whippings, red agate lined tip eye, turned hardwood stopper and a 25” doughnut cork handle with twin alloy sliding ring reel fittings. This original rod has the London transfer label and comes in its B. James twin pocket khaki cloth bag.
