Rare vintage ABU Svangsta “Diplomat 651 Zoom” 6ft 2 piece glass fibre Spinning (bate casting) Rod in excellent “as new” condition. Dark grey blanks, copper wound eyes and suction ferrule, tiger whippings throughout and a composite handle with spring loaded quick release reel seat. Made in Sweden circa 1965 the rod appears to have had little or no use. This rod comes in its original ABU green striped nylon bag with manufacturers cane packaging support.

Brown blanks, metal wound eyes and suction ferrules, black whippings throughout and a 16” cork handle adjustable locking reel seat. Made in Sweden, circa 1964, this rod has an extendable butt section to achieve the various lengths. The rod comes in its original ABU purpose made red cloth bag.

Golden blanks, copper wound eyes and suction ferrule, black whippings throughout and a 16” cork handle with “All Round” adjustable down locking reel seat. Made in Sweden circa 1964 this rod has a repair to one eye, please study photos. This rod comes in its original ABU red cloth bag with a rubber stopper and the manufacturers packaging support strip.
