Excellent example of an early B. James “Richard Walker Mk IV ” 10ft 2 piece split cane Carp Rod. Bronzed brass stepped suction ferrule, burgundy eye and black intermediate whippings (possibly whipped by Mrs Murgett), red agate lined butt and tip rings, and a 28” onion cork handle with twin alloy sliding ring reel fittings. This original rod has the Ealing transfer label and comes in a twin pocket khaki cloth bag.
